Bloomsburg's Erin Bartsch Named Women's Tennis Player of the Week

BLOOMSBURG, PA —Bloomsburg University women's tennis player Erin Bartsch (Warren/Warren) has been named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week for the period ending April 7th.

In two matches last weekend, Bartsch won both her matches playing at number one singles for the Huskies. In her match against Concordia College she won 6-1, 6-4, while against Franklin Pierce she was a winner by scores of 6-0, 6-0. Bartsch was also a two-time winner at number one doubles with her teammate Katie Kochera. Bartsch is now 18-4 on the season and 58-12 for her career in singles play.

The Huskies won both matches by scores of 9-0 to improve to 6-5 on the season. The Huskies visit Kutztown Wednesday at 3 p.m. in a PSAC match-up.
