Bloomsburg Women's Tennis Wins Another
BLOOMSBURG--The Bloomsburg University women's tennis team defeated Concordia College on Friday night by a score of 7-2.
Torie Cunningham(Harborsfields/Greenlawn, NY) won in the number two spot in singles action in a three-set thriller.After dropping the first set, Cunningham came back and won the set second in a tie-breaker, then played a 10-point super breaker to win the match.
In doubles, Katie Hasyn(North Penn/Lansdale) and Brittani Weeks(Wallenpaupack/Hawley) won at number two by an 8-5 score.
The Huskies will host Millersville University on Saturday at 2 p.m.
