Tracy Nissenbaum Advances to ITA "B" Singles Semi-Finals

BLOOMSBURG-- Bloomsburg University women's tennis player Tracy Nissenbaum (Allentown/William Allen) has advanced to the semi-finals of the ITA East Regional “B” Singles action.

Nissenbaum opened the tournament with back-to-back two set wins, then had to battle through back-to-back three-set matches to reach the semi's.

In her third round match against an opponent from Holy Family College, Nissenbaum dropped the first set, 6-7 (2 in the tie-breaker), then came back with a 6-4 second set win and a 10-5 win in the super-breaker. In her quarterfinal match, Nissenbuam beat Mary Beth Ash of St. Michael's in the same manner, dropping the opening set, then coming back to win in three, 2-6, 6-4, 10-7.

Nissenbaum's opponent in the semi-finals will be Elodie Briquet of California (PA).
