Women's Tennis Downs Ithaca
HILTON HEAD, SC--The Bloomsburg University women's tennis team beat Ithaca College on Sunday by a score of 6-3. The match was played in Hilton Head, SC as part of the Huskies annual spring break trip.
Katie Hasyn (Lansdale/North Penn), Torie Cunningham (Greentown, NY/Harbor Fields) and Alison Carney (Muncy/Warrior Run) were two-time winners for the Huskies. Hasyn and Carney won at number one doubles, 8-6, then, both posted wins in singles play. Cunningham won at number two doubles with teammate Brittini Weeks (Hawley/Wallenpaupack), then posted a win at number two singles.
