LOCK HAVEN—Michele Wolyniec won the 5,000 meter race in 18:29.66 to highlight the performance of the Bloomsburg University men's and women's track and field teams at the Lock Haven University Qualifier. Her time qualifies her for the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Track and Field Championships.

The Huskies' Chad Frantz finished seventh in three different throwing events. He threw the shot put 38'-4", the discus 100'-8", and the javelin 139'-3".

Eric Priesz finished fourth in the discus with a throw of 125'-8".

Julie Bloom (third in the 3,000 meters at 11:37.26) and Kim Gasper (fourth in the 5,000 meters at 20:55.81) also had top-four finishes for Bloomsburg.

The PSAC Championships begin Thursday, May 11 at West Chester University.
