MANSFIELD--Michele Wolyniec won her sixth straight race with a win at 3,000 meters for the Bloomsburg University track team at the Mansfield University tri-meet.

Wolyniec won the 3,000 meter event in 10:44.5, a full 14 seconds over the second place finisher. Amanda Eltringham finished third in 11:21, while Julie Bloom was fourth in 11:47.6.

In the women's 1,500 meter rafce, Eltringham was third in 5:13.1, while Julie Bloom was fifth in 5:17.9. In the men's 1,500 meter race, Matt Zappille was third in 4:35.2.

In the field events, the Huskies' Eric Preisz took top honors in the men's discus with a throw of 126.5 feet. In the men's shot, Priesz was second in 37 feet, four inches with Chad Frantz third in 36 feet five inches.

Lock Haven swept both the men's and the women's events. Lock Haven men finished with 177 points, while Mansfield was second with 86 and Bloomsburg third with 22 points. The Lock Haven women finished with 177, while Mansfield was second with 94 points and Bloomsburg third with 17.
