Bloomsburg's Danielle Kramer Takes First in 10,000 Meters at SusquehannaSELINSGROVE —Freshman Danielle Kramer (Shamokin/Shamokin) won the 10,000 meter race Saturday at the Susquehanna University Invitational Saturday. Also finishing third in the event was Jennie Roberts for the Huskies, while on the men's side freshman Justin Dosch was eighth. Kramer, running the event for the first time as a collegian, finished first in a time of 36:49. The time qualifies Kramer for the PSAC championships, the Penn Relays and is a provisional qualifying time for the NCAA championships. The time was also a stadium-record at Susquehanna. Roberts took third in the 10,000-meter race, also her first time running the event, in a time of 40:05. Her time also qualifies her for the PSAC championships. On the men's side, Dosch (Sunbury/Shikellamy) was eighth for the Huskies in the 10,000-meter race in 32:50. His time also qualifies him for the PSAC championships in May. |
