Danielle Kramer Finishes 10th at Penn Relays

PHILADELPHIA —Bloomsburg University women's track standout Danielle Kramer (Coal Township/Shamokin) finished 10th at 10,000-meters at the prestigious Penn Relays Thursday night.

Kramer, a sophomore, was the top Division II finisher in the event and ran the race in a time of 35:44.06. The time set a new Bloomsburg school record and is the fourth fastest time in Division II this season.

Kramer is also preparing for the PSAC championships coming up in May and has qualified in four events; the 1,500 meters, 3,000 meters, 5,000 and 10,000-meters.

Earlier in the season she posted two national provisional qualifying times at the 5000 and 10,000-meter distances, running 17:48 and 36:16 respectively in a six-day span. Kramer was also the first D-II finisher in each race in the predominately D-I field at the University of Pennsylvania and North Carolina State.
