LOCK HAVEN —Eleven members of the Bloomsburg University men's and women's track teams are taking part in the 2003 PSAC Championships this weekend at Lock Haven University.

In action on Friday, Amanda Pisano (Smithtown, NY/Smithtown) placed 4th at 10,000 meters in a time of 39:16.69 to earn a spot on the podium and team points for the Huskies.

Also for the women, Cherise Mercer (Philadelphia/Bishop McDevitt) advanced in the 800-meter competition running a 2:19.11 in her qualifying heat.

For the men, Greg McGhee (Philadelphia/Cheltenham) advanced in the 100-meter competition finishing his qualifying heat in a time of 11.00 seconds.

Action will continue on Saturday at the championships.
