Dosch Named PSAC Male Runner of the Week

BLOOMSBURG—Bloomsburg University cross country runner Justin Dosch (Sunbury/Shikellamy) has been named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Male Runner of the Week for the period ending Sept. 14th.

Dosch earned the league's top honor after winning the Bloomsburg University Invitational this past Saturday in a time of 28:19 for the 8,000-meter course. Dosch was 39 seconds ahead of the second place finisher and led the Huskies to the team title.

Also a member of the Bloomsburg University track team, Dosch was the team MVP following the 2002 season. He qualified for the PSAC championships in the 10,000-meter event after running a 32:50 at the Susquehanna Invitational. He also took second in the 5,000-meter event at the Captain's Classic in Virginia in a time of 15:54 and was 5th in the 5,000 at Bucknell in 15:27 and was second in a field of 32 at 5,000-meters at the Millersville Invitational in a time of 15:15.

Dosch is the son Tracy Dosch and Steve Dosch of Sunbury and is a Secondary Education/English major at Bloomsburg.
