Bloomsburg Cross Country Teams Run Well at Dickinson InvitationalBLOOMSBURG—The Bloomsburg University men and women's cross country teams finished fifth and third, respectively, Saturday at the Dickinson College Invitational. The event featured two races for each team, an 8K and 4K race for the men and a 6K and 4K race for the women. The scores from each school's top three runners of each race were then added together to come up with a team's final score. The men's team finished with 126 points, with 78 points coming from the 4K race and 48 points coming from the 8K event. The women's team totaled 147 points, 76 points coming in the 4K race and 71 points coming during the 6K contest. The men's competition was won by Allegheny College with a total of 54 points, while the women's event was won by Dickinson College with a total of 39 points. For the men, Justin Dosch (Sunbury/Shikellamy) was the top Bloomsburg finisher in the 8K race, as he came in eighth place in a time of 27:22. The top Huskies' runner in the 4K run was Curtis Woodard (Sayre/Towanda) who came in 11th place with a time of 13:07. The women's top performer in the 6K run was Danielle Kramer (Shamokin/Shamokin) who finished third in a time of 23:30. Mary Bacher (Allentown/Central Catholic) was the to finisher for Bloomsburg in the 4K run as she finished in 20th place with a time of 16:38.
