BLOOMSBURG— Freshman Amanda Pisano (Smithtown, NY/Smithtown) finished 27th out of 218 runners at the Gettysburg College Cross Country Invitational, Saturday morning. Pisano led the women's team to a tenth place finish out of 30 schools. On the men's side, Eric Wolfgang (York/Central York) finished 74th, leading the men's team to 19th place out of 34 schools.

Other Huskies placing in the women's meet included freshman Katie Conlon (Inkerman/Pittston) who placed 66th as well as junior Jessica Lightcap (Pottstown/Pottstown), who placed 84th. Freshman Tonia Zangari (Sunbury/Shikellamy) and sophomore Autumn Simmons (Northumberland/Shikellamy) finished 92nd and 94th, respectively.

For the men, freshman Bill Shepardson (McMurray/Peters Township) finished 104th, while junior Dan Mest (Alburtis/Emmaus) finished 112th. Junior Dave Gamsby (McAfee, NJ/Vernon Township) finished 115th for Bloomsburg.

Bloomsburg's top runners sat out the meet in preparation for next week's PSAC Championships.
