Huskies' Cross Country Competes at PSAC Championships

BLOOMSBURG— The Bloomsburg University men's and women's cross country teams competed in the PSAC Championships Saturday. The team's finished 7th and 5th, respectively, in the competition. This is the highest team finish for the men since 1993 (3rd place) and the best finish for the women since 1997 (5th place).

In the men's race the top three Bloomsburg runners were Justin Dosch (Sunbury/Shikellamy) placing 23rd with a time of 28:03, Mike Espinosa (Media/Penncrest) placing 33rd with a time of 28:25 and Chris Turner (Lawrenceville/Williamson) placing 37th with a time of 28:33. For the Bloomsburg women, Danielle Kramer (Coal Township/Shamokin) finished 9th with a time of 24:08 while Amanda Pisano (Smithtown, NY/Smithtown) finished 13th with a time of 24:14 for the Huskies. With their top 20 finishes Kramer and Pisano both received all conference honors.
