Bloomsburg Cross Country Teams Race at Bucknell Invitational

LEWISBURG —The Bloomsburg University cross country teams took part in the Gulden Invitational at Bucknell Invitational. The men's team finished third with 86 points, while the women were also third with 72 points.

On the women's side, Amanda Pisano (Smithtown, NY/Smithtown) was second overall in the race in a time of 22:49, while Katie Conlon (Inkerman/Pittston Area) was 15th overall in a time of 23:46. Taking 18th place was Mary Bacher (New Tripoli/Allentown Central Catholic) in 23:49, while Teri Sutherland (Dauphin/Central Dauphin East) was 19th in 23:51.

On the men's side, Justin Dosch (Sunbury/Shikellamy) finished 11th overall in a time of 25:43, while Justin Shepherd (Cranberry/Seneca Valley) was 19th in a time of 25:56. Taking 22nd overall in the race was Chip Carnes (Linden/Williamsport) in a time of 26:03.

Bucknell won both the men's and women's races with IUP second on the women's side and Lock Haven second on the men's side.
