Bloomsburg has a Strong Showing at Penn State Spiked ShoeBLOOMSBURG— Sophomore Danielle Kramer (Shamokin/Shamokin) finished 10th out of 157 runners to lead the Bloomsburg University women's cross country team to a fifth place finish at the Penn State Spiked Shoe. The Huskies women's team finished three points behind Youngstown St., a Division I team. The Bloomsburg men and women also finished ahead of Kutztown for the first time in many years at an invitational meet. Kramer finished with the fastest time for Division II runners, coming in at 22:09. Kramer improved her time on the 6,000 meter course from last year by :34. Sophomore Mary Bacher (New Tripoli/Allentown Central Catholic) finished second for the Huskies in a time of 22:53. Bacher finished an impressive 24th overall. Amanda Pisano (Smithtown, NY/Smithtown) and Terri Sutherland (Dauphin/Central Dauphin East) also finished in the top 40, finishing with times of 23:12 and 23:26 respectively. Pisano finished 31st while Sutherland came in 40th. Justin Dosch (Sunbury/Shikellamy) helped lead the Bloomsburg men to an eighth place finish at the Penn State Spiked Shoe. Dosch finished with a time of 27:22 in the 5.2-mile event. Dosch improved his time by 1:04 from last year's Spiked Shoe. Freshman Justin Shepherd (Cranberry/Seneca Valley) ran well for the Huskies finishing 37th with a time of 27:34.
