Bloomsburg Cross Country Opens Season at Bison Open

>LEWISBURG —The Bloomsburg University cross country teams opened their 2005 season at the Bison Open at Bucknell University on Friday night.

In the men's 3K race, Justin Shepherd took third in 15:08, while Dave Sanford was 13th in a time of 15:31. Also finishing in the top 20 were Michael Espinosa who was 18th in 15:38 and William Shephardson 20th in 15:40.

In the women's race, freshman Ashley Shuck took sixth in 18:49, while Amber Hackenberg finished 10th in 18:56 with Mary Bacher 12th in 19:07, Shannon Hoffman 13th in 19:09 and Bethany Schwing 14th in 19:10.

The Huskies are idle till Sept. 17th at the Lock Haven Invitational.
