DIRECTIONS TO NELSON FIELD HOUSE/CROSS COUNTRY COURSE FOR PSAC CHAMPIONSHIPS
From Route 80, take Exit 236. It will be marked as the exit for Bloomsburg University. Turn onto Route 487 South and go through the first traffic light at the Sunoco station/Denny's Restaurant. Approximately 1 ½ miles south on Route 487 you will see a second traffic light at Country Club Road. Turn right, up the steep hill, to the Nelson Field House. Spectators should park in the lots in front of the tennis courts, the softball field and the Orange Lot just beyond softball. Overflow spectator parking should turn left at the stop sign and proceed to the Blue Lot at the end of the drive/bottom of the hill.
From Route 11, continue through the town of Bloomsburg. Route 11 is the main street of town. As you approach the last traffic light where Route 11 North will bear to the right, you want to be in the middle lane. You will be facing Bloomsburg's Carver Hall straight ahead, up the hill (brick building with clock tower.) Bloomsburg Diner will be on your left and the police station will be directly ahead of you. Turn left onto Route 487 North. (There will also be a sign there directing you toward Route 80.) Go up the hill and through the blinking light at the UniMart and under the student walkway. Bloomsburg Hospital will be on your left/the main campus will be on your right. Continue to the red light at Country Club Road. Turn left onto Country Club Road and go up the steep hill to the Nelson Field House. Spectators should park in the lots in front of the tennis courts, the softball field and the Orange Lot just beyond softball. Overflow spectator parking should turn left at the stop sign and proceed to the Blue Lot at the end of the drive/bottom of the hill.
The course starts and finishes on the soccer fields just over the small hillside with the line of pine trees at the top.
