BLOOMSBURG-- The Bloomsburg University men's and women's cross country teams both took top honors at the Husky Invitational on Saturday.

The men's team finished with 18 points to 41 points for the Bucknell "B" team. On the women's side, the Huskies had 15 points to 38 for the Bucknell "B" team.

In the men's race, the Huskies Mike Dalton (Lake Hopatcong, NJ/Pope John XXIII) finished first in a time of 27:25 while teammate Misha Litvinov (Drums/Hazleton) was second in 27:32. In third place was Dan Tallarico (Pittsburgh/North Hills) with a time of 27:41 with Jim Stockley (Elverson/Twin Valley) finishing fifth in 27:45.

For the women, it was a Bloomsburg sweep of the top five places with Angela Borealo (Easton/Easton) taking first for the second straight week in a time of 23:05. Finishing in a photo finish for second was Beth Schwing (Hershey/Lower Dauphin) in 23:56 with Andrea Kellock (Lansdale/North Penn) third just a half second behind. In fourth was Amber Hackenberg (Middleburg/Middleburg) in 24:12 with Ashley Shuck (Milton/Milton) fifth in 24:38.

The Huskies race at the Lock Haven Invitational next Saturday at 10:30 a.m.
