Cross Country Raced at Lock Haven Invitational
BLOOMSBURG-- The Bloomsburg University men and women's cross country teams raced in the Lock Haven Invitational this Saturday.
The women's team finished third out of 11 teams in the 6k with a total of 82 points, falling only to second place Kent State with 75 points and first place West Virginia University with 37 points. Angela Borealo (Easton/Easton) was the top finisher for the Huskies in ninth place with a time of 21:51. Amber Hackenberg( Middleberg/ Middleberg) finished 10th in a time of 21:58. Placing 12th was Andrea Kellock(Lansdale/ North Penn) in a time of 22:05. Rounding out the top 20 for the Huskies was Beth Schwing (Hersey/ Lower Dauphin) who took 15th in a time of 22:39.
The men's team took fifth place with 132 points out of eight teams in the 10k. Micheal Dalton (Lake Hopatcong, NJ /Pope John XXIII) was the top finisher for the Huskies, Dalton placed 17th in a time of 33:07. Jim Stockley (Elverson/Twin Valley) placed 27th in 33.34. In 33rd place was Misha Litvinov (Drums/ Hazelton)in a time of 33:52 and in 34th place was Dan Tallorico ( Pittsburgh/ North Hills) in 33.52.
The men and women's cross country teams will compete in the Lehigh Paul Short Invitational September 28th at 5:00p.m.
