Bloomsburg Cross Country Teams Ranked Nationally and Regionally

BLOOMSBURG— The Bloomsburg University cross country team has been ranked in national and regional polls this week.

The women’s team is ranked 14th in the current U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Division II women’s cross country rankings and second in the latest NCAA Division II Women’s cross country regional rankings. The men’s team also registered a ranking on their side of the NCAA Regional rankings at fifth.

Bloomsburg, who has been idle since participating at the Paul Short Invitational at Leigh University on September 28th, return to action on Friday when they take part in the Penn State National Invitational in State College. The women’s race will begin at 10 a.m. on Penn State’s 6k course, while the men’s race will begin at 11 a.m. on the 5.2 mile course.
