Bloomsburg Women's Cross Country Ranked 13th in National Rankings
BLOOMSBURG- The Bloomsburg University women's cross country team is ranked 13th in the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCA) Division II women's cross country poll for the week of September 10th.
The Huskies are coming off an impressive showing at the Husky Invitational, in which the Huskies took first place with 24 points, placing three runners in the top five.
Junior Angela Borealo (Easton/Easton) took first place. She finished in a time of 22:48 to win the 6,000 meter event by 18 seconds. Katie Meck (Dillsburg/Northern) finished third in a time of 23:20, while Ashley Shuck (Milton/Milton) was fourth in 23:45.
Adams State retains their number one ranking, followed by No. 2 Seattle Pacific. From the PSAC, Shippensburg is ranked 15th, Kutztown 17th and Slippery Rock 22nd.
Bloomsburg travels to Iona College on September 20th for a 10 a.m. race.
