Bloomsburg Women's Cross Country Ranked Fourth in Regional Poll; 25th Nationally
BLOOMSBURG-The Bloomsburg University women's cross country team is ranked fourth in the latest Atlantic Region in the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) weekly poll. The Huskies are also ranked 25th in Division II by the USTFCCCA.
The Huskies are coming off a second place finish at Lehigh University's Paul Short Run last Friday. The top three finishers for Bloomsburg were senior Angela Borealo (Easton/Easton), who finished 11th overall with a time of 22:00; senior Andrea Kellock (Lansdale/North Penn), who had a time of 22:04, finishing in 15th place; and sophomore Katie Meck (Dillsburg/Northern), who came in 17th place with a time of 22:10.
The Bloomsburg women have also placed fourth at the Mountaineer Flatland Invitational and defeated Susquehanna in a dual meet in September.
The Huskies are idle until October 17 when they travel to Easton for the Leopard Invitational on the campus of Lafayette College.
