KUTZTOWN—The Bloomsburg University men's and women's cross country teams took part in the PSAC Cross Country Championships Saturday. The men finished 11th of 13 teams with 357 points, while the women were eighth of 13 with 202 points.
For the men, Matt Zappile was the top-finisher in 64th place in 29:11, while Terry Grant was 71st in 30:21, Pete Wadel 72nd in 30:38, John Hanlon 73rd in 30:41, Bryan Thomasey 77th in 32:04 and Pete Fisk 82nd in 36:15.
For the women, Michelle Wolyniec finished eighth in 22:51, 31 seconds off the winning time of Sara Raschiatore of IUP. Kim Gasper 35th in 24:32, while Julie Bloom was 38th in 24:34. Also, Gwen Stevens was 60th in 25:30, Rachel Keller 61st in 25:41, Amanda Edelman 74th in 26:27 and Carrie Hiltebeitle 78th in 26:42.
Edinboro won the men's title with 43 points, while Edinboro won the women's title with 39 points.
