The mission of the division of Student Affairs at Bloomsburg University is to facilitate a university experience integral to student success. As educators, Student Affairs professionals intentionally develop an environment contributing to a student’s learning and leadership, as well as personal and professional development.

Increase collaboration with academic affairs through the new general education curriculum
- Form division committee to encourage and develop proposals for submission to the Gen Ed committee
- Redesign and increase Living and Learning communities
- Engage in the ongoing development of the University seminar and other first-year experiences
- Strengthen collaboration with faculty on out-of-classroom high-impact learning opportunities such as service learning and career development
Identify partnership opportunities with academic affairs
Explore current student leadership models and define a coordinated approach for BU students
