This unique program provides a seamless pathway to a bachelor’s degree for graduates of A.A.S., A.S. and A.A. technical degree programs. It provides the knowledge and skills necessary to assume leadership roles in workgroups and project teams — skills necessary for career advancement in a rapidly changing, globalized workplace.
The Technical Leadership program is offered through a blend of online and on-site courses at the campus of our first program partner — Lehigh Carbon Community College. Most courses are scheduled in the evenings, making this an excellent fit for working technical professionals. In addition, students at Lehigh Career & Technical Institute have the ability to dual-enroll at LCCC during their junior and senior years, getting an early start on their college coursework.
The leadership focus of the program covers areas sought by employers, including:
- Effective communication and collaboration
- Team leadership and project management
- Staff training and development
- Workplace and cultural diversity
- Financial and supervisory knowledge
- Conflict management and resolution
Offered through Bloomsburg University’s Department of Instructional Technology, the Technical Leadership program also offers a unique industry connection with an active professional advisory board.
