College-Level Examination Program (CLEP)

About CLEP Exams

The College-Level Examination Program (CLEP) lets you earn college credit for what you already know by earning qualifying scores on any of 33 introductory-level college subject examinations. You could save hundreds, even thousands, of dollars toward your degree.

BU’s Testing Center is an “OPEN” test center, anyone may test here. CLEP is available to students from other schools or those in the military.

Which CLEP tests are accepted at Bloomsburg University?

BU’s Office of the Registrar is responsible for determining which CLEP tests will be accepted. Please visit the BU Registrar’s website for more information.

Please check your institution’s CLEP policy before taking a CLEP test to be sure your school will award credit, what score is required, and where credit will be applied.
