Praxis

Paper-Based Test The Praxis Series provides tests and other services for states to use as part of the teacher licensing and certification process. Praxis I, the Pre-Professional Skills Tests (PPST), assesses your ability in Reading, Writing, and Mathematics. Praxis II consists of one or two tests that measure your knowledge of your teaching field, before you may student teach.
Praxis I may be taken in either the computer-based (not available at BU) or paper and pencil format (administered at BU) while Praxis II is only offered in the paper format (available at BU).
