Legal Studies Association plans activities
BU's Legal Studies Association provides interested students and faculty a forum to discuss current legal policy and political issues, provide information for students who are interested in law school, public policy, criminal justice, and government. A Practice LSAT test will be given Saturday, Oct. 18, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., in Sutliff Hall, room 131. There is a $3 fee to take the exam. Signups end Oct.16. Space is limited.
Future activities include:
- Visit Drexel Law School, Tuesday, October 21, 8:30 a.m. departure, 11:30 building tour, 12:15 p.m. lunch with first year students, 1:20 attend class on civil procedure, 2:30 return to BU. Participants will use a university van and share the cost of the gas. Signups end October 16. Space is limited.
- University of Scranton Law School Fair, Tuesday, October 28, 12:30 p.m. departure, return by 4:00 p.m. The fair provides a chance to meet with representatives of several law schools and obtain information about their programs. Participants will use a university van and share the cost of the gas. You must sign up in advance. Space is limited.
- Workshop on the Law School Admission Process, Thursday, November 6, at 4:00 p.m., in Sutliff Hall, room 110. Learn the basics about applying to law school, including information about general admission criteria, the LSAT, and suggested timetable for the application process.
