Students must complete 53 credits of general education requirements as a part of the 120-credit requirement for a bachelor's degree. Elective courses allow students to supplement a specific plan of study with classes to prepare for a career.

Some majors have specific course sequences that must be taken in an eight-semester path, while others are far more flexible. Even the most rigorous programs are reasonable to pursue a bachelor's degree in four years with an average semester load of five classes.
