Customized Job Training Program (CJT)

Bloomsburg University assists regional businesses through economic development in seeking funding under the statewide Customized Job Training (CJT) grant program administered by Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED). These grants are provided for specialized job training to existing or newly hired employees. Eligible companies include manufacturers, agricultural enterprises, research and development, advanced technology, and business service firms.

The grants, which cover up to 75% of the eligible costs for new job creation, retention, and upgrade training, can be applied to the costs of instruction, supplies, consumable materials, and contracted services. Trainees qualifying under the program must be residents of PA and be employed in PA, earning more than 150% of current federal minimum wage.
