WEDnet PA - Guaranteed Free Training (GFT)

New and existing employees can qualify through two separate programs offered by the Guaranteed Free Training Program (GFT). The Basic Skills Training and Information Technology Training programs are available to qualified in-state businesses and out-of-state companies relocating to Pennsylvania. Through either or both GFT programs, your company can benefit from a wide range of training that will put your employees on the path to higher job performance.
Free, Basic Skills Training includes instruction in a variety of fundamental skills needed to remain successful in the workplace. Employees qualifying for the free training grant should be frontline employees or first-level supervisors. Employers must be manufacturing or technology-based businesses. The skills associated with the training are defined according to the type and scope of your business. Some of the training elements offered through the program include:

Free, Information Technology Training includes instruction in a variety of high-tech skills needed to be successful in the workplace. Employees qualifying for the free training grant should be new or current technical workers or information technology professionals, or frontline employees and first-level supervisors of manufacturing companies needing advanced applied manufacturing technology training. The skills associated with the training are defined according to the type and scope of your business. Some of the training elements offered through the program include:
