Clinic Location/Parking: The Speech, Language and Hearing Clinic is located on the third floor of Centennial Hall on the Bloomsburg University campus. We offer convenient, reserved and handicap parking in the lot adjacent to Centennial Hall (near the tip of the directional arrow on the map above). There is elevator service to the third floor. The Bloomsburg University Speech, Language and Hearing Clinic provides a number of different diagnostic, therapeutic, and counseling services for both children and adults. These services are conducted on a out-patient basis and are an extension of the graduate training programs in audiology and speech-language pathology at Bloomsburg University. Student participation in clinical services are under the direct supervision of a certified/licensed clinical supervisor found in the Department of Audiology and Speech Pathology.
The Bloomsburg University Speech, Language and Hearing Clinic has been accredited by the Council on Professional Services Accreditation (CPSA) of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) since the 1980s.
Audiological Services: The Audiology clinic offers a broad range of services to children and adults, which includes comprehensive evaluations as well as rehabilitation and preventative services. The following is a list of the services conducted at the clinic:
Basic Comprehensive Audiological Assessment: This includes Hearing Evaluations and middle ear evaluations
Advanced Audiological Services:
Hearing Aid Service: this includes assessment, fitting, adjustments and repair of conventional, programmable and digital hearing aids.
Aural Rehabilitation: Teaching individuals to optimize their hearing ability to understand speech
Assistive Listening/Altering Device Selection: TTY, Closed Captioning, vibrating and lighting alarm systems for door bells, telephones, and alarm clocks
Occupational Hearing Conversation:
Newborn Hearing Screenings
Educational Programs Addressing Normal Hearing and Hearing Loss Issues
Educational Audiology: Sound surveys of school environment; Fitting, adjusting, and repair of auditory trainers, FM systems, and hearing aids; School Staff Professional Development and Education.

Speech-Language Pathology Services: The speech-language pathology clinic offers comprehensive evaluations and treatment of adults and children with speech, language, cognitive, voice, fluency and swallowing disorders as well as augmentative communication, aural rehabilitation and accent reduction services. Housed in the Speech-Language Pathology Clinic are:
Augmentative and Alternative Communication Laboratory: which is equipped with several assistive devices used for various populations to enhance their communication effectiveness.
Preschool Program: The Central Susquehanna IU houses a preschool classroom focused around speech and language development. A certified/licensed Speech-Language Pathologist coordinates the preschool program and works in conjunction with the Master's level students to provide preschool services.
