Public Relations

This minor equips students entering the workforce by allowing them to determine communication objectives, key publics and recommended communication tactics for print, broadcast, and online environments.  The Commission on Public Relations Education recommends that undergraduate programs emphasize and strengthen writing and communication skills associated with storytelling, editing, and media relations.  The minor is comprised of 18 credits in the Media and Journalism Department.
