Supply Chain Management is the discipline that manages the linkages between external partners and internal functions to optimize the flow of products, services, information, and money across supply chains. Reliance on information technology, just-in-time inventory systems, global sourcing, demand-driven strategies, and environmental sustainability initiatives combined with an environment that features greater market volatility and risks have made supply chains complex and strategically important for any organization.
Students who pursue the Supply Chain Management Minor will be prepared with knowledge and skills needed for careers in operations supervision, purchasing, logistics, warehousing, demand planning, and more!
At least 12 of the 18 credits must be earned at Bloomsburg University. A minimum 2.0 cumulative average GPA must be achieved in the courses counted for the Supply Chain Management Minor.
