High School Students (ACE)

High school students who desire to enroll in university courses must apply to the Office of Off-Campus, Summer College and Advanced College Experience (ACE) program. Students preparing to enroll at BU as a freshman in a degree program must apply to the admissions office.

Applicants for this program will be considered Category 3 for admission purposes

Credential Requirements

Complete application for non-degree admission, official high school transcript and letter of recommendation from the student's high school guidance counselor. Scheduling is done through the ACE program coordinator. Students may take 12 credits per semester. Tuition and fees are reduced by 75 percent.

  • Summer classes in areas of interest to earn college credit
  • Senior-year-at-college programs for exceptional students, with high school approval
  • Special summer classes that free up schedules during the senior year
