Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society

Beta Gamma Sigma is the international business honor society for AACSB-accredited schools.

Not tied to any specific major, it is an honors organization for undergraduate and graduate business students. The top 10% of undergraduate students and top 20% of graduate students are invited to join.

Each year, BGS advisors respond to a survey reporting activities of the local chapter during the previous academic year. It considers these activities and awards honors to active chapters. The Highest Honors designation distinguishes BU for having multiple information sessions for students about the organization and the benefits of joining; attending the BGS advisor training workshop; sending students to the Global Leadership Conference; participating in a community food drive; having an active and successful invitation process with involvement and support of faculty BGS members; and holding an initiation ceremony for new members.
