Alumni are cordially invited back to Bloomsburg University for an alumni orchestra event in April 2023. We would love to have you join us for our spring concert, Saturday, April 29, to catch up on what the orchestra has been doing, plans for future events and concerts, share stories, and make music.
The community orchestra at Bloomsburg University is celebrating 50 years of making music and we want YOU to join us!
Alumni are cordially invited back to Bloomsburg University for an alumni orchestra event in April 2023. We would love to have you join us for our spring concert, Saturday, April 29, to catch up on what the orchestra has been doing, plans for future events and concerts, and just to share stories.
We would love to invite you and your instrument back on stage to participate in performing a piece on our concert on that same day. Rehearsal would begin at 1:00 and would last about an hour, after which, you are more than welcome to wander the music building, explore campus, or sit in and observe the rehearsal. There will be a small reception before the rehearsal, where you are invited to interact with current players and faculty and catch up even more. The concert will start at 7:30 pm and should last about an hour. We would love to have you join us.

Saturday, April 29, 2023
11:30 – 12:00 – check-in
12:00 – 1:00 – light reception
1:00 – 2:00 – rehearse with current orchestra
2:00 – 4:30 – observe rehearsal/explore campus
4:45 – 6:45 – dinner on your own
6:45 – 7:30 – change into concert attire/tune
7:30 – 8:30 – concert
