Dr. Pete Doerschler will give a lecture as part of the ICS Lecture Series.
This talk will examine the ongoing democratic recession, including causes and implications, along with ideas for reversing the trend toward authoritarian rule. Specific attention will be given to the United States.
Pete Doerschler is in his 15th year as a member of the Political Science Department at Bloomsburg. His primary scholarly interests include European politics, far-right parties and movements, and immigration. He graduated with his PhD from Penn State in 2004.
