Bloomsburg University's exercise science master's degree program prepares students for research opportunities, doctoral study and employment in universities, cardiac rehabilitation, corporate fitness and wellness, sports medicine, and pediatric/geriatric fitness. These activities are augmented by such learning recourses as library support, information technology and well-equipped exercise physiology, biomechanics, and computer laboratories in Centennial Hall — the home of the Department of Exercise Science.

BU's graduate Master of Science in Exercise Science program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of the Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP), which is the largest programmatic accreditor of the health sciences professions. In collaboration with its Committees on Accreditation, CAAHEP reviews and accredits over 2,100 individual education programs in 32 health science occupations. CAAHEP accredited programs are assessed on an ongoing basis to assure that they meet the standards and guidelines of each profession
