What's Different This Year?

  • Masking Indoors: The safety of all who come to campus is our highest priority. The university presently has a 100% indoor masking requirement for all personnel unless actively eating or drinking. We thank you for your understanding and compliance.
  • Husky Royalty: As an opportunity to be more inclusive, equitable, and to afford more opportunities for all students to become involved with campus and community life, this Homecoming tradition has been reimagined so that ALL current BU students are eligible to run for Husky Royalty and vote this year to determine the 10 winners who will represent their anticipated undergraduate class year, including graduate students. Winners will work collaboratively with the Council of Class Officers to represent their specific class year from Homecoming through the end of the Spring 2022 semester. They will support philanthropic efforts, participate in community service projects, and help raise funds to put towards a legacy gift bestowed at graduation.
  • Homecoming Parade: Due to road construction in the Town of Bloomsburg and need to re-route some traffic around those areas, the university was unable to get approval for the parade
  • Window Painting: This residence hall tradition has been redirected for Homecoming 2021 toward participation in the Magical Banner contest to give students the opportunity to express their creativity.
