The English Department at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania seeks qualified candidates for four temporary, full-time positions in writing for the academic year 2014-2015 (AA#’s 20-3-146, 20-3-147, 20-3-148, 20-3-149) at the Instructor level.
Required: Terminal degree (PhD/MFA) in English or closely related field or MA in Rhetoric and Composition completed by August 20, 2014. Recent college composition teaching experience required; demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations preferred. Instructors will participate in departmental assessment of English 101 ePortfolios.

Finalists for these positions must communicate well and successfully complete an interview process with department faculty. For full consideration, materials must be received by February 14, 2014; positions remain open until filled. Recommendation for hiring is needed from a majority of the regular, full-time faculty within the department or area conducting the search. Prior to a final offer of employment, the selected candidate will be required to submit to a background check including, but not limited to, employment verification, educational and other credential verification, and criminal background check. Completing these searches is contingent upon available funding.
