Interest Form - Non- Music Majors

Do you play an instrument or sing? Did you enjoy chorus, band or orchestra in high school?

You can continue to sing or play an instrument either for credit or as an extracurricular activity at Bloomsburg University. Enrollment in a musical ensemble, a music class or private lessons in music is not required. However, some credits earned may be applied to your general education and graduation requirements.



Ensemble Request

PRIVATE LESSONS IN MUSIC: Students will be selected by the Music Department dependent upon faculty availability. Each lesson is offered for one credit. Place a check mark before the private lesson for which you wish to enroll.


Other Music Classes

These are only scheduled if space is available. Check all in which you wish to enroll.

Music Listening or Jazz in America


  1. All courses count toward the General Education requirements
  2. If you are scheduled for one of these activities and decide not to participate, you must drop the course from your schedule during orientation or during the schedule change period at the start of the semester.
