APR Recruitment and Training Specialist, Paige Bohn has become familiar with the BU Supply Chain program over the last several years, and so far, she likes what she sees.

APR Supply is an HVAC and plumbing distribution company with a store in the Bloomsburg area and is a regular participant in on-campus events, such as Career Connection Expos. Bohn says that while many potential hires come prepared with academic knowledge, some lack the soft skills required to thrive at APR.

"Students have always been friendly, and that lends to good conversation," said Bohn, who emphasizes the company's core values of creating enthusiastic customers through accountability and results. She says that she and her colleagues at APR Supply Company have always been impressed at the caliber of young professionals who come out of the Zeigler College of Business prepared to work, learn and grow.

"They are ready to come in and work hard and do whatever they need to get the best job done," said Bohn. "That is not typical of all college grads we see, so there must be something in the program and environment that lends itself well to APR."

Over the past six years, APR has hired more Bloomsburg University graduates than any other university, and all have done well at various levels of the company.
"They are willing to do the hard stuff and typically have a lot of success [because of] their work ethic," stated Bohn. "There are training opportunities when you come to work with us, and we make sure [our hires] go somewhere so they can see the hard work and extra steps are worth it."
