Contact Information

Club Sports are student-run organizations that share a common athletic interest. Depending on the club, its focus may be recreational, instructional, competitive, or a combination of these types of activities.

Club Sports bridge the gap between intramural and intercollegiate athletics by providing competition at specialized levels, participation in local, regional and national tournaments, as well as opportunities to practice. Club Sports are supported by the Department Campus Recreation and are under the jurisdiction of the Community Government Association.

About Club Sports

Intramural Sports offers recreational activities for Bloomsburg students to compete in leagues and tournaments against other teams of Bloomsburg students with no required practices, and a lower level of commitment. Club Sports offer opportunities for Bloomsburg students to practice their specific sport 2-3 times per week and compete against surrounding schools within their designated league or at weekend tournaments.

All undergraduate and graduate students registered for at least one credit are eligible to join a
club sport. Faculty/staff and community members are not eligible to participate in Club Sports.

Contact the sport’s president or captain. Their contact information is located on each individual sport page.

Club sports run during both the fall and spring semester. Practices generally start the first week of each semester.

Club sports do not hold try outs however, some teams may use a Varsity/Sub-Varsity system due to sport popularity.

Some teams have volunteer faculty coaches or student coaches/captains. This depends on the preference of the club.

Fees may occur however they are sport specific and determined by each individual team.
