We are changing our name to Commonwealth Academic Technology and Support (CATS). Thank you for many years of working together as the IMDC at Bloomsburg, D2L Administration at Lock Haven, and Instructional Technology at Mansfield. We look forward to many more years as CATS. We will be making this change over the course of an academic year, so everyone who needs us can find us.

About Us

Our mission is to assist with the use of instructional technology to achieve higher learning in any learning environment.

We offer students assistance with instructional technology used in their courses so they can focus on academic success. We manage and support Brightspace, Zoom, and other instructional technologies they encounter in the classroom.

We offer faculty and staff LMS and instructional technology support and training, distance learning and instructional design services, and professional development opportunities.

Do you need something for LMS, Zoom, or our other services? Please submit a service request at

Student Staff

CATS employs student workers to assist faculty, students, and staff with technical support concerns. Our student staff are highly trained in Brightspace, Zoom, and other instructional technologies.

Our Graduate Assistants and Interns work with us to help provide instructional design advice and implementation for faculty, staff, and departments.
