Hare from the Department of Biological and Allied Health Sciences earned her bachelor’s in biochemistry and molecular biology with a minor in biostatistics at Ursinus College. She earned her doctorate in microbiology and molecular genetics at Rutgers University and completed postdoctoral training at the Autism and Developmental Medicine Institute (ADMI) at Geisinger Health System. Her area of expertise is human and molecular genetics with a focus on neuropsychiatric disorders. Her research focuses on the identification and phenotypic characterization of rare genetic variants in individuals with neuropsychiatric disorders. Her research utilizes large genomic datasets and electronic health record data to assess the clinical manifestation of these genetic variants.
