Dr. Ashwini Kanade is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) at Bloomsburg University (BU), Pennsylvania. Ashwini practiced as a dentist in India for two years. After moving to United States in 2011, she graduated with Masters in Aging Studies and, PhD in CSD from Wichita State University, Kansas. Currently, Ashwini is teaching graduate and undergraduate courses in the department of CSD at BU. Her research topics are aphasia, speech breathing, and older adults.
Areas of Interest : aphasia, speech breathing, older adults, spirituality in SLP/Aud curriculum, oral health related quality of life in older adults
