Biography

Dr. Tolan is an assistant professor in the Communication Sciences and Disorders department at the Commonwealth University of PA. She earned her clinical doctorate, Au.D., from the former Bloomsburg University – now the Commonwealth University of PA. She also completed her Ph.D. in Education Leadership from Alvernia University. Her clinical career includes extensive experience diagnosing, treating, and studying vestibular disorders in private practice and as a contracted civilian employee with the DOD. Her research interests include vestibular disorders and treatment options, vestibular clinical practice guidelines, leadership studies, and developing clinical leaders. She is a licensed audiologist in the state of PA and a long-standing member of the America Academy of Audiology (AAA) and the American Speech-Hearing-Language Association (ASHA).
