Chad Andrews works out of his printmaking studio at the Pajama Factory in Williamsport Pennsylvania.  He works in a multitude of medias and styles and combines them as a way of expressing the complexity and diversity of the world around him.

"The overall theme is a look at the specific and mundane aspects of our daily life. The nonsensical juxtaposed with the rational creates an ambiguous image that is representational to our American culture. The physicality of materials and assemblage play an important role in the reading of the image."

Andrews earned his MFA in Printmaking from the University of Pennsylvania.  He joins the faculty of Bloomsburg University as an Instructor of Studio Art, teaching printmaking and two-dimensional design. Chad comes to Bloomsburg University with the credentials of teaching printmaking at the University of Pennsylvania and Interlochen Center for the Arts. In addition to teaching printmaking at Interlochen he held the position of Director of Visual Arts. Chad exhibits his work regularly and is represented by Gallery Plan B in Washington DC.
