Denise earned a BA from East Stroudsburg University with a double major in English and Communication Studies and an MA from the University of Arizona in Media Arts. She joined the TRIO SSS team in August of 2012. Previously, Denise taught Speech Communication at East Stroudsburg University and Northampton Community College's Monroe campus.
She has worked for East Stroudsburg University's TRIO Upward Bound program since 2004 and currently teaches English Composition for the program. In addition, Denise is on the executive board of the BU chapter of PASSHE Women's Consortium.
